Guide

What happens in your first session

Stance, guard, movement and fundamentals — what to expect from your first 45 minutes.

Before you arrive

Wear comfortable training clothing and bring water. You will complete a short health screening questionnaire (PAR-Q) and consent form before training, so tell Trey about any injuries or medical conditions in advance and the session can be adjusted properly.

The warm-up

Every session starts with a proper warm-up. It is part of the 45 minutes, not an optional extra.

The work

For boxing that means fundamentals, pads work and footwork. For kettlebells it means fundamentals, conditioning and core stability. Either way, technique comes before intensity.

Recovery

Sessions finish with proper recovery work. You should leave knowing what you worked on and what to practise.
